2007 - United Way Day

The annual campaign kickoff for United Way
in Northwest Ohio was held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Some of the
Kellermeyer team members from the corporate office in Bowling Green, OH
participated in United Way Day of
Caring on this same day. Kellermeyer team members volunteered
their services to Wood Lane School & Wood Lane Industries for the day.
In the morning there was a tour of the school with the Director of
Children’s Services, Rob Spence. Team members then broke up into class
rooms to spend time with the students and assist the staff. In the
afternoon team members received a tour of Wood Lane Industries and then
spent the rest of the afternoon spending time & helping the adult
students design patches for patchwork quilts given to infants in the
area with disabilities. Kellermeyer team members found this Day of
Caring to be a valuable & informative experience. Special thanks to Wood
Lane School & Wood Lane Industries for welcoming us into their daily
routines and letting us help out for the day. Kellermeyer team members

2006 - Gift Boxes For The Troops
The Holiday
Gift Boxes for our Troops was a great success. Kellermeyer staff put
together over 75 special gift boxes filled with candy, snacks and treats.
Each box contained special notes from school children submitted through
a number of our team members. The packages were distributed to Soldiers
stationed at the Army base, Q-West, which is just south of Mosul Iraq.
Special attention was given to making sure as many boxes as possible
went to those Soldiers who don’t usually receive many packages from
home.

November 2006 - Holiday Parade
Kellermeyer Company recently moved its corporate offices to Bowling
Green, Ohio. Founded in 1944, our family owned company continues to be one of
the leading distribution companies in Northwest, OH, Southeast, MI and
Northeast, IN. We are very pleased to be joining the Holiday
parade in Bowling Green for the first time. Our float, “A Sign of Big
Things to Come” shows children looking out the window waiting for Santa
to arrive!

- Walk For Diabetes
Members of the Kellermeyer staff participated as a TEAM in America’s
Walk for Diabetes at The Toledo Zoo. The “Sugar Shakers” raised $735.00
for Diabetes research in the United States. As usual Kellermeyer TEAM
members stepped up to the plate for a good cause that effects millions
of people.
